Any Sep 2002 cases ?

I'd like to hear from anybody in the forum with Sept 2002 RDs with FP. How long does it normally take to get the approval after the FP? Thanks.

dinnu is from sept 02. Look at his post. He did fp on sept 18 04 . He got rfe recently.
 
We gave our fps in sep (18th to be precise) and RFEs were issued Nov 16th. I think 2-3 months is the average time after your FP.

I also got a response back from FBI saying that our name checks were completed in Jan 2003.
 
Hi Dinnu,

When did u get a reply from FBI about name check. I sent a mail on 12th Oct and still yet to hear. Also what did they have to say ?

I received a reply on Nov 12th for the email I sent on Sep 30th. I think they are taking about 4-6 weeks to respond.

This is the response I got.
"I am responding to your e-mail dated September 30, 2004, requesting for status of an FBI Name Check.

A review of the FBI's Name Check Program database concerning xxxxxx revealed a request was received from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on January 5, 2003 and finalized also on January 6, 2003. The results were forwarded to USCIS. "
 
FBI Name Check

I haven't received any FP notice. Can I verify FBI namecheck? Is yes, what is the e-mail address and what do I ask. My 485 RD is Sept 02

Thanks for your prompt reply. I have kind of made some analysis pending my email on the FBI Name check status. Before our LUD changed after FP, i noticed that LUD for me was Jan 21,2003 and wife was still spet 17,2002. This makes me believe mine is done and wife's name check still in limbo. What do u think ?

Sept case approved

Folks, one of my friends who files I-485 with me (Sept 2002) with FP Sept 2004 got her I-485 approved on Monday. Things seems to be moving pretty OK at the TSC these days. Hope they keep up with this for a while. :)
 
My I485 case ND is 09/2002. Nothing has happened yet, no fingerprints after having sent TSC numerous faxes and letters. I wrote to Congressman about 2 months ago. He had very quick, positive response and even made TSC promise to schedule our fingerprints within 1 month. However, after 2 months went by, still nothing. I just wrote to the Congressman again and will see what would happen. I'm really convinced that it's gambling to deal with TSC. No rules to make you a winner, only pure luck works.
 
Yes, you are right. Things are very chaotic there. However, TSC is processing 7/11/2002 cases now. Also take a look at last years TSC activities. I guess things are going to speed up for a while. Your FP and GC should be around the corner.

I have not received fingerprinting yet.
Also my EAD (3rd) has been approved with dates going from 02/05 to 02/06
I lost words and hopes...
Now I'm waiting for the date on the internet to pass Sept 2002, maybe sometimes in feb 2005 considering the pace....
I'm sad , frustrated and p....d.
I still pray but I'm thinking God and the INS do not have anything in common...

Andreab, we are in the same boat. Just got my third EAD that is valid till 2006. No fingerprints. 2003 and 2004 filers are getting approved while a whole bunch of us are waiting.
 
I can’t see how parallel processing 2003 cases is going to help TSC to better meet the 6 months goal by year 2006. Of course it’s not fair to us long time green card slaves. May be TSC has a hard time with Math.

Could you please tell me what is LUD, and how to access it for my case?

I have been stuck with the name check for almost 3 yrs, and are trying to figure out how to deal with this situation. :confused:

My I-485 was filed in Oct'02. Two weeks ago i did my 3rd time FP(code 2). Priority date is Apr 01. Not sure if there will be any progress after my FP.
