Any relaxation on 60 days rule for H1 revalidation?

My H1 visa stamp is expiring on October 18 2004 which more than 60 days away from the 16 July deadline. Can I still send my passport for revalidation?

I was hoping that, since this revalidation would be the last in the US, DOS would not be as stringent about applying the 60 days of visa stamp expiration rule.

Thanks in advance.

Have been US visa refused any time.? in the visa application.

It is a head ache.. Wait and send it at the right time. if not get it stamped in india or canada

Please advise if they stamp your passport with 221g refusal,
----- they will have the record and it will be refusal under 221g and in future you have to fill that Visa was REFUSED, you cant lie on your future applications. FYI Canada or Mexico if the reject Visa they stamp the passport last page" application recieved" the is code word that Visa was applied and rejected, I dont know if DOS also stamp the same

thanks for your inputs..

I think codeword 'application recived' is not refusal of visa, When I first came to US I applied for 4 times and third time thay stamped application recived. Since then I have applied and recived visa for several times and I always check no on the section 'have you ever been denied for visa'. :D

ps: Thankx ginnu for your information-I sent my passport for restamping
