I\'ve seen a lot of recent approvals which RD are dated in 04/01 and 05/01. My RD is 12/00 and ND is 01/01 and I am still waiting.

"Case hasn\'t been assigned to an officer" are the last words I heard from NSC. What\'s going on here?

You can check couple of things

Check if your I140 was approved for AOS or for CP. Also ask your lawyer to call IIO. Most probable cause of delay could that your I485 must have been sent to make a connection with your I140. By reading the waiting patterns on this board, this is one of the possible cause of case delays.
