Any recent FP's

Got FP Notice Today(12/04/2002)

My I485 RD : 12/03/2001 and ND 11/30/2001.
EAD is going be expired 12/27/2002.
Applied Renewal EAD 09/19/2002.

I received FP notice today for mine and my wife. The Appoinment date is 12/31/2002 at 9:00 AM in Dallas.

I never called and talked to any IIO until last friday(11/29/2002).
I just tried from my office and got the line with in 10 minutes.
I talked one lady (She is very soft to answer to my questions). I told her that we need to visit to India and waiting for Green Card and not received any FP Notice. She got mine and my wife SRC numbers and forwarded to some office(That's what she said). If I do not get it with 90 days she asked me to call back. God Grace I got with in a week time.

Guys. Call INS and explain some valid reason to beleive.
Hope you will get FP with in a Week, if you talked a lady.

Some IIO's are helping out ...

Seems like some IIO's are helping out by forwarding the SRC numbers to the appropriate depatment and getting the FP scheduled.

I spoke to a "don't care" IIO and I told her that another IIO had told me 2 monts ago to call back if I did not get my FP by now. She said:"we have told everybody (IIO's) to stop saying that, I don't know why they still keep doing it"

So, I guess just keep calling, and you might just get lucky with some lady IIO and get your FP scheduled.

i did my fp on dec 3,2002 and i am the dependent. my husband who's the principal applicant did not receive fp notice yet. what should we do? i have called and nothing happened. ones an iio gave a fax nr. to send an inquiry for my husbands fp with my fp paper done and additional copies of our I485 notices. what else i can do? i dont know anymore.

Got Our FP notices.

My wife and I received our FP notices today (12/06/2002). It is scheduled for 1/10/03.

I had called the day before Thanksgiving and a nice lady IIO said she will do it for me.

485 RD 6/2001
485 ND 7/2001

Do you plan to go earlier than 01/10? I heard that one can go on any Wednesday (around 2 PM) and tell them that you're there for your FP ahead of your schedule. 90% of the time, they allow it.

Do you know anything about it? Anyone?
 
I am planning Today (Saturday 12/07/2002)

My FP appoitment date is 12/31/2002 at 9:00 am but we are planning to go today and I will post my experiance tomorrow.

The samething happened to us also. I called them after thanksgiving day and spoke to nice lady IIO and received FP notice two days back.

However, I wasn't aware that they were open on Saturdays?

kaycekay- You missed a perfect opportunity to get FP for the other applicant. Generally the co-applicant goes along and requests for FP to be done, local INS produces a FP form and forwards both FP.
Call INS and aggressively pursue.
 
FP done yesterday (Saturday 12/07/2002)

Bajis,

myself and mywife finished our FP yesterday in Dallas Office. He asked us, why did you come today when your appoinitment date is 12/31/2002?. I told him, I may not be in station during that week. Somehow he allowed us to finish the FP.In fact there was no growd at all. It took only 15 to 20 minutes(All together).

We took our passport and FP Notice with us. That's all you need.

They open on Saturday and closing at 4:00pm.

1. At what time did you go?
2. Where is this FP place in Dallas?

We went there around 1:30 pm on Saturday. I was called before fillup my worksheet.

Office Hours Tuesday to Saturday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

North East corner of Webb Chapel and NorthWest HWY.

The office is next to $1 dollar shop.Back side of Dollar General shop.

The Display board is "INS Supporting Center".

You need only FP Notice and Passport. You can go on Wednesday afternoon or Saturday Afternoon.
