Any recent AOS through San Francisco office?

Hi everybody,
I would like to hear from anyone that has recently submitted paperwork for AOS through SF office. I'm trying to find the current wait time for those of us going for GC through DV2005. It's supposed to be faster than the regular AOS, bur I'm concerned about backlog that could come from PERM.
My current timeline:
12/23/2004 submitted paperwork
12/30/2004 USCIS cashed the check
01/07/2005 received letter from KCC advising me to submit the paperwork to USCIS if I haven't done so
Nothing since then. Just sit and wait.
Anybody else?

AOS in NYC

Hi, Blue 25
I am in the same boat as you are! My timeline was 12/15/04 send in all papers to USIC in NYC. 12/24/05 got a notice of action for EAD and AOS fingerpirnting and bio. The earlies appointment I got was 2/5/05 for the fingerprinting. My lawyer just informed me, that in NYC they don't even start giving out appointment dates before April/May. He also said that with this low number (I am assuming you are with a low number too!) we should be OK. Just be hang in there!
Good luck!

Yes, I'm with very low number EU00001xxx. I had to get my J-1 foreign residency requirement before submitting AOS papers. I'll keep fingers crossed for you too. I still didn't get anything for EAD and fingerprinting and bio. It's soooo nerve wracking. And Americans think that DMV is bad?!

you are absolutly right!! And the bad part is that when you call INS nobody knows anything about it!!! Everytime I call I get a totally different answer! Do you hava a lawyer?? That might help!!
Good luck for you too!!! :) Your number is lower than mine. I am 11xxx. Where are you from in EU?

I have a lawyer and he is really good and I really like him because he has a good relationship with SF office. But he told me that the first request for update goes through one of the operators. At the second request he can ask for supervisor to talk to, but it's all streching through about 2 weeks.
I'm from Croatia, one of 69 people that got DV notification. Talking about luck....
