Any receipts pending before June 20th!!

Lets start this thread for people who applied before June 20th & have Receipt Notice pending. Apparently my attorney mailed the 485 application on June 15th. I just talked to an IIO and he cannot find my records in the system... Anyone in a similar situation

My attorney mailed my 485 on June 28th & I got my receipt RD 7/2 & ND 8/17.

I think you should ask your attorney to call INS & send them yours papers again, with the proof that it was sent to INS on June 15th. Hopefully you should not loose out on your RD & ND. Good luck
 
485 Receipt

Thanks for your concern Prakash. But my attorney isn\'t very helpful in this regard.. He has asked me to wait for a few more days before doing anything of that sort. That is why i am trying to find if there is someone else in the same boat as me..

Is there a possibility of the application being lost?? Any one experienced a lost application at VSC
 
indigo, about refiling 485

My attorney told me that they had two similar cases before. They refiled the 485 .

INS entered both 485 and there were two cases pending for same person. They had tough time in convincing INS about this and to avoid rejection.

It is better to do a ststus check by attorney before sending 485.

They do not refund the money also.

I am doing status check by attorney now.
