Any receipt number to track green card after PP stamping

After PP stamping local INS office is there any receipt number to track issuance of actual green card.
I understand after PP stamping there is form I-81.
Corrent me if I am wrong

Use the I-485 approval notice number.

Your EAC#

on the I-485 approval notice will carry you through the process till you get the plastic.

Isn't it the same?

Isn't the EAC # on the Approval notice same as the EAC# from your Receipt Notice? Both the people earlier suggested to use the number from Approval notice. Please clarify... is this number supposed to be different?

It is the same EAC number.

When your card is ordered the message will change to

"On XXXXXX(Date), 2003, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready. "

When your card is mailed it is changed to

"This case has been approved. On XXXXX(Date), 2003, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours."
