Last LUD 1/27. I give up and I am going to India for a vacation.

even I have plans to go to india in march not sure what are the consequences if I get approoved while I am there???? I have AP until July Any ideas????

this is what my lawyer said for the same question:

At the airport, you will be given Deferred
Inspection, meaning that CIS will give you a certain period in which to
get your permanent resident stamp in your passport and report back to
the port of entry to show them your stamp.

re-entering may be trickier if 485 is rejected while we are abroad.
