Is there any one who was not caught in name check delay to beat my record?:D
Approval
in 1588 days from the date of concurrent filing
in 1553 days after clearing name check
in 955 days after transfer to local office for interview
in 631 days after successful completion of interview
in 35 days after the file was with the reviewing officer
in 20 days after the PD became current again
 
Congratulations! You've got a pretty old priority date. What I'm impressed with is you labour got approved so quickly. My labour was submitted only 8 months after yours, but mine didn't get approved until 2 years after yours.

Thanks mdh! A friend of mine who started the LC process one month before me, got 6 months head start in I-485:) He got GC in 2003 itself:D

I know there are many who are stuck in Name check with older PDs. But my question was directed to those who were not stuck in Name Check but were stuck because of the inefficiency of USCIS:)

From your post, it seems your waiting is over, if Congressman's office indeed have provided you with accurate information. You are only waiting for the letter in the mail. Hope it will happen soon.

As far as waiting longer than you, I think I am. Since I have already been interviewed over two years (but PD was not current then), it's safe to say that my NC has been clear (besides I work in an area that in itself requires some clearance in advance).

Mine case:
Concurrent Filing in 2003 July
Local Office Interview in Jan 2005
Now they just send a RFE. Dont know what that is about.
My medical was done in Dec 2004. My wife's case also has rfe
Would that be the medical?
 
There are lot of people around... your record is little above avg... many people who are getting approval now have about 4-5 years since their PD. No need to be so proud....A friend of mine PD Sep2002, just now applying for I-485. You are lucky.

Hi Saras,

Congratulations on your approval. I also got approved last week.
You are doing a yeoman service by helping everyone and I hope someone makes a book out of all your messages. But that would also mean most attorneys may have to close shop. Just kidding..... Good luck and god bless.
