any one got name check?

Hi,

I sent my request on 12th Oct and havent received a word from them. Dont know whats happening ?
 
Name Check Email response

Hi,

I sent an email on Oct 8 2004 and got a response on Nov 30th. Email stated that Name Check was completed by FBI and results were sent to USCIS, Washington DC.
 
Where to send the inquiry

I sent a namecheck request and as usual no response from them. But the good news is my 485 got approved. I would think that the namecheck is not a big deal and ignore them even if you don't get a response.

IMHO Name Check is a process that needs to be done and is something that the individual does not control, unless there is something you are worried about.

It is great that I did get a reply but that has had no bearing on the timeline for approval on my case. If you feel strongly about knowing the status of your name check, send an email but I would not sweat too much about not getting any information about it.

This is my opinion only and I am not an expert, so please consult a lawyer if needed.

140 AD : 9/2004 after RFE
FP: 10/14/2004
485 AD : 12/01/2004

Sent an email to FBI on Nov 15th. Waiting for response. But received response to FOIA with "No Records" response for me and my spouse.
 
I faxed on 22ed Sep , no response. Sent email on 7th Nov still no response. I sent these queries with very very polite and sweet language.. no effect :(
