Any massive/global update for I485 recently?

LUD change
Was that update dated 8/23? If so, I suspect that it was a global update. I got an update on 8/26 as well, but the message did not change. I was pleasantly surprised to receive two emails this morning (8/29) with the I-485 approvals for my wife and me. This time, the message did change.
A very successful conclusion to a 4 year long journey. My app should've been cleared in June 2004 (EB-2), but got stuck in name check. I wrote to the FBI, sent emails etc and got the name check cleared in mid-July 2005. Then I forwarded the FBI email to CSC XII twice and requested them to approve.
Yes, it did take 4 years. However, the USCIS has changed as an organization in the post 9/11 period. Therefore, it probably took time for them to adjust given the demands of security. They seem very responsive now.

Oh, ok. I had my name check cleared before I did the CSC XII enquiry. My name check was cleared in mid-July. I sent an email to CSC XII then as well as a reminder last week.
If you have been stuck in Name check for a long time, you may want to refer to the Name check thread on how to accelerate the process.

The response I got for my Aug. 22/23 is my case is name check pending.

Did any of you who is on eb3 send an email to the I-485 email id after July 1st ? What response did you get ?
