Any March Case left?

BayofB, sent my RFE response on Feb 25th, AVM says response received

on March 6.....Waiting....sigh.

ND: 3/1/2001, reply to RFE recieved by INS Feb 13th (employment verification) still waiting!! (I140 approved for CP)
 
I-140 (CP) recieved by INS yesterday. Now they are preparing

RFE. I don\'t know when this will end ...........SAD GUY
 
485Runner, On what date did you send the RFE to INS ?

I want to know how much time it takes for INS to update the AVM after they receive the documents.
 
Could I believe it?

I called IIO this morning and was told my case would assign to a officer and get the result in 30 days.
 
485RUNNER --- I called INS yesterday .

I spoke to a very good INS officer, who actually answered all of my questions. Also emailed INS MADRAS, according to them they mailed my I-140 on Jan-30.
 
I did not call INS

I am a bit worried cause I feel that if I force them then they might jsut transfer my case to a local INS thereby delaying it further
 
To those I140 for CP, filed AOS

Do we have to call national visa center to ask them send our I140
back to VSC INS ? How is this suppose to work ?
 
If INS needs the file it is the only one who can ask for the file from the consulate.

I talked to NVC regarding the same. They told me the info I just typed.
 
March Case still waiting, Talk to IIO today

RD:3/1/01; ND:3/12/01; FD:08/01 No RFE so far, I-140 approved CP and file AOS
I just talk to IIO and she told me I have to wait in 60 days. Nothing wrong and some officer may process case slowly. She can not tell me more information.
