any limit on how long B2 visa can be extended?

my parent's b2 visa was extended once for 6 months. can it be extended again? what's the chance it can be approved? thanks in advance.
 
I need to know this too.

www.immihelp.com has this:


"Extension will be given usually for the duration you ask for and give justification for the same. However, maximum you duration for extension you can ask for is 6 months. Also, you can not apply for visitor visa extension as many times as you want. Maximum you can stay on B1/B2 visa is 1 year."

But I haven't seen such restriction in other sites nor in USCIS Visa services
web site. Could anyone confirm this?

My parent's visa I did extended without any issue and they stayed for year and half total. I gave reason for visiting places with grand kids during their vacation (july-aug & Dec).

Meaning I extended their visa twice (each time for a 6 months).
