Hi! I sent mine off on tuesday night and the package was delivered today by FedEx and signed for.

01.07.2014 FedEx 2 day overnight standard
01.09.2014 Delivery notification received from FedEx.
 
I sent the paperwork on 12/30 via USPS. Paperwork was received on 01/06. It looks like is all waiting game right now

Good luck on that. Yes it is very much a waiting game as you can see from my timeline. Hopefully VSC will process your app quickly.
 
I am still awaiting biometrics appointment.. After waiting 30 days since submitting the application and receiving the receipt notifications, I called and they opened a case (Feb 10,2014). They confirmed mailing and email addresses and said that I will hear back from them within 15 days. Nothing as yet.. :(
