Are there any Jan 2001 RFEs ??
I found out from an IIO that there is going to be a RFE on my case. She told me this on Octorber 26. AVM stills says "received on blah blah". IIO told me that they still haven\'t type the RFE yet and I should be receiving it with in 2-3 weeks. My RD 01-19-01, ND 01-29-01, FP 05-01-01.
Pleas post your details if you have received RFE recently.

Yak! She might have teased you......

Call them once agin and confirm that they really have issued RFE.
It should not take 2-3 weeks to type it up.
Just my 2 cents!
 
I agree with you dude!!

Thats what I am screaming about....2-3 weeks to type a RFE...give me a break!!! If this is true they need serious change in their administration.

It is not normal....

It happens when there is known problem, like huge backlog etc..
However, right now there is no such thing going on at VSC.
Hence, the theory that she is probably teasing!

If she was teasing...I would really want to see her and tease her so bad that she would beg to have a piece of me...she sounded kinda cute on the phone...:). Good luck to you guys!!

Its true, In my case

I called IIO on Sep 28, he said, I will receive RFE in 2-3 weeks, he also said, the case is with a Typing clerk who is going to mail the RFE. On Oct 9th the AVM changed to RFE issued and I received the actual letter on Oct 15. A similar letter is also received by my Attorney on Oct 15.

I replied with RFE to INS on Oct 22nd, still no update on AVM saying they have received the details.

The RFE was Employment letter, 2 months pay slips and 2 years fed tax returns.

My PD DEC98
   RD JAN08 2001
   ND JAN16 2001.
   FP May 2001.
  RFE on Oct 9th, 2001.
