Any ideas? Spouse pending for over 1 month after primary approved

Spouse case is still pending after mine was approved on may 26, 2004.
Is anybody in the same boat or having similar experience?

My case was approved on 6/30/04. Wife's case is still pending.

I am from china, but this may not matters. I totally have no clue what is going on there. Keep us informed when your wife get approved.

Someone told me that because we have different last names, spouse's case might be delayed. But Chinese women don't take husband's name anymore.

Thanks for the input. It is maybe the case, but most people get approvals for the whole family at the same time. CIS is always hard to be understood.

my wife's case was approved along with mine at the same time on July 3, but my daughter's case is still pending. I am from China too.
