Any Idea?

Guys, any idea as to when does the BCIS Website (Online case status checking Database) gets updated, is it immediately after the status is modified or at a particular time in a day...

This is a very tough question to answer, since people have seen their messages change pretty much every hour of the day. I would guess that this updation is happening atleast a couple of times a day. I know today for instance, my message changed (from approved to card ordered) sometime between 9 AM and 10:30 AM !

The last time my message changed (from FP results to approved) was between 4 PM and 6 PM.

Hope this answers your question to some extent !

I know how to clear the cookie but it wouldn't help - it's blocked by the server, not the cookie. :)

I think its the server that keeps track of the IP address from where a request is coming from and blocks the response for that request if you have exceeded 1000 requests in a day !

Delete cookies

Dengdeng,
Click on Tools->internet options for Internet Explorer, you will see Delete Cookies... button in the middle of General Tab. Just click on it, you will be able to clear your cookies. Good luck.

For most dial up and DSL, your IP is dynamicaly assigned by the server.

If you use dial up, hang up and dial again, you would be assigned to a new IP. Same method also apply for DSL connection.
