Any I-140 redo approvals

Yes. My lawyer recived the approval notice yesterday. The redo I-140 was approved on 11/30.

b I-485 question

I filed for my I-485 on 11/16/2000. My H-1B is expiring on 01/01/2000. I had earlier also filed for the extension of H-1B which was received by INS on 11/13/2000.

I am hoping the H-1B extension will come by end of Dec. Does any one know what\'s the procedure to get the parole based on my I-485 application since I need to visit India in early Jan. According to my lawyer, I cannot go out based on my extended H-1B since I have already sent the I-94 number in my 485 application. Receipt of the 485 will only come in 3 months as per my lawyer.

Would appreciate if anybody can share experience/advice on this matter

Could you guys tell me what reasons to do I140 redo? I am going to get RFE, and I don\'t know what it will be about. Is I140 redo a type of RFE? Why INS ask you to redo I140?

Still waiting for the final approval. I140 Redo was approved on 11/22. Asked my lawyer to send the approved form to Vermont. LAwyer said that it was not necessary. Spoke to an IIO yesterday(12/05). She told me it takes atleast 4 weeks for the final approval. So I am still waiting
