Just found out that my amended I-140 is approved but my I-485 message says same old thing RFE response received on 22nd November.

I-140 RD 9/28/00 and ND 10/05/00 Apporved date 11/30/00

I dont know if the talking to IIO this morning helped or not she said i am linking your i140 and 485 together and next thing i found today was my i140 was approved same day i talked to her. She said i am assigning ur case to officer and it depends how much work he has on the desk depending on that ur case should be adjudicated. She also said that since i140 and 485 were not linked so that was the reason for hold up on your case.
I hope she was telling the truth. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Looks like VSC updated the AVM for all the I-140 redo cases on 11/20, and then approved them all together on 11/30. If I were to guess, I\'d say it probably was a result of some INS memorandum which culminated from some AILA action or from a INS review of the new law.

My redo I-140 (EAC-01-017) was also approved on 11/30.

One hurdle is over.
When can we expect 485 approval. Can we get it before X\'mas.
I feel we all will be getting it on the same day as it must be with the same officer.

I -140 Redo was approved on 11/22. EAC 01 003 xxxxxx. ND 10/4.

Hi,

Could you please let me know how you determine if your amended I-140 is approved? Did you call IIO / received a I-140 approval notice?

I am in the same boat and the AVM says that the RFE response was received on November 22nd. When I talked to an IIO last week, she mentioned that she could not give me the status on I-140 redo and it can only be given to my employer.

I would really appreciate your response.
