You have come such a long way! Are you gettung paid by your company? If so then wait for a month to see whether INS clarifies the rule. Another questuin in my mind is will it matter whether you are out of job for a month or two ? Since they might ask for last 3 paystubs? Status is no problem AOS but what if somebody happens to be unemployed just before changing jobs and approval is /isn\'t around?
Everybody is guesssing. Why don\'t we collevtively hire some attorney and get the answers?

Dada. My ND is May, 2000. At the rate that things are moving, I think I maybe about 5-7 months away from my GC. At the same rate, you would probably be 10 months away. I hope I\'m wrong and it\'s early for both of us. But, something in the very near future is wishful thinking. Sorry to bring you down, bro. I hope you are right. My ND is April 7,2000. At the rate in which it is going it looks like it will take atleast a year from now.

Its very difficult to predict the approval patterns. VSC had literally halted all the I-485 approvals after they completely approved Aug-Sep 99 EB2 and some EB3 cases (which took almost more than 6 months). Then, they started giving FP notices from Feb 2001 for all cases from OCT-99 to MAR 2000. I anticipate everybody in this pool (OCT-MAR) should get completed by Aug-Sep 2001.( too optimistic)
The rate at which they are processing I-485 in VSC, the wait period might be more 540 days. Currently, the wait period for OCT 99 cases is 515 days (+-30 days). This is for I-485 cases w/o RFE.
