any H4 approval recently from CSC?

Hi,

I got my H-4 approval resently last week.I applied for H-4 extension on 05/24/03 along with my spouse H-1 visa extension.

I have a question too,
Both new I-94 and I-539 are valid from march 2003,but my previous I-94 and visa expired in sept 2002.Does it mean I was out of status from sept 02 to march 03.And is it going to affect my H-4 to H-1 visa conversion.I am going to get a job with in a month.

hello there! u said you're gonna change your status from h4 to h1. is that possible? how did you do that. can you give me any idea on how to do that? coz, from what i know h4 visa holders are not allowed to work coz you dont have SSN and it says on the visa that h4 are not eligible for work. appreciate your help.

i applied h4 for my wife some where in the end of november. i got it rejected first time for the change in the fee. i sent 125 instead of 140. after that, i got a query on that asking for all the paper work that the applicant have suffiecient funds to stay in usa and all these things.. at last they approved and sent it last week. be patient..i think it's taking time now-a-days for any approval

ya,u are right on H-4 i am not eligible to work,i am getting a job and that company will sponcer my H-1.after that i will get SSN.

basically u have to get a job with a company who will sponcer H-1.
