ANY Good Immigration lawyer in SACRAMENTO

My case was tranferred to sacramento for an interview.I would like to know if any one of you know of a good lawyer in sacramento that I can take with me for the interview. Do any one know howm much a lawyer charges for such tasks. My curent lawyer is in Houston and I am not very confident in him.
 
Hi Good Saint Thanks a lot!! Do u know how many months it takes to schedule an interview at Sacramento local office.
 
I would be a bit suspicious if a lawer does not practice immigration law
exclusively. By the way, Sacramento is just 2 hours drive from San Fran.
It seesm that it might be easier to find a truly excellent lawer in the Bay Area.
 
If they are local I think they will be less expensive and also may have contacts with the INS officials locally.
 
Has your interview already been scheduled?

My case was also trf to Local office in Sacramento and interview is scheduled for Apr-12.

Please let me know if you have already been interviewed. I am planning to hire an attorney for the interview.
 
DO U KNOW WHY YOURS GOT TRANSFERRED. Mine I think because working for a company other than the one sponsoring it.
 
I have no clue why my case got transferred to local INS. May be because it passed 540 days limit. Did you already get your approval?

When was your finger print date? Will it still be valid at your interview date? Have you got another finger print done?
 
Not yet waiting for the background check clearance. Interview was simple.Asked most of the questions on the biographic form that goes with 485 form. The lady needed my current employment letter with job description which I sent a week back.The officer was very courteous and took our finger prints,oath and since we didn't take our lawyer with us she asked us to sign that we are wavering an attorney
 
Thanks for your input. Good to hear that your interview was good. In my case, only I have received the interview call. My wife's case has not been transferred to the local office.
