Any experiences for applying emergency Advance Parole

Hi

I have applied for my AP in Oct end at VSC and still awaiting the approval. My previous AP expires in the first week of Feb. I might have to travel to India around mid Feb.

Would appreciate any experiences with applying for emergency AP and what documents and if any templates are available for the same.

At year end, APs are delayed. Wait for next few days. Keep contacting with USCIS. In case of emergency, local offices can be contacted.

I had urgency recently to go on work to XX country. I sent the company letter stessing how much they lose...

Did not work out. I got a letter that it is not urgent.

Except medical (letter from doc.) Remaining I doubt..

I tried it long back didn't work.
as said Xmas?new year can delay things but wait and see it will move real fast now!

Is there any limit on the " number of days" outside US when using Advance Parole. My wife is planning to visit home for 3 months on AP. Is that okay?

My 140 was approved on Oct, 05. Waiting on 485 decision.
