I don't know if this is true or false but i initiated case status enquiry 2 weeks ago and my case was approved on 11/8 but message changed the next day about the case status enruiry sent to me...now i guess i will two notices..

I have opened a status inquiry at the end of Oct and my LUD changed twice 11/10 and 11/11 with an online response of "We have sent a response to your Inquiry bla. bla. bla..........

My 2 cents
As per my lawyer preemptive and / or repetitive status enquiry is not welcomed by many officers at USCIS.. use those ( coupled with senator enquiry etc ) as last resort when you are sure thing are not going your way .. ( i.e. at this moment - if your have dates in 2002 ) .. 2003 guys should wait.. don't consider this as junk info.. around 20 people have been approved in my company w/o any RFE at any stage in last 3 months ( Jan - July 2003 filers )

Yes, I initiated an inquiry and got it approved within a month, however, not sure if inquiry kicked off the approval or not....

I had the exact same LUD changes and I had initiated case inquiry on 10/22/04.
