Any experiance using cathay pacific with AP from India.

They don\'t keep copies or original...you just have to show it to them

I travelled last month in Cathay and I didn\'t even have to show my AP.....Actually the airline personnel should verify your visa status before allowing you to board the flight.....For me, what happened was they just took one of my expired H1\'s as a valid visa and didn\'t bother to ask for AP......But at Indian immigration before boarding I was asked for AP and I just had to show it to them....

thank you! Just wanted to knwo if I show the AP paper

in India they will let me board the plane.

Make copies

If you have valid H visa, then the airline agent may not ask for AP.If not they will verify the AP. In my case ( I flew KLM ) they did not take any copies, but I have seen postings where people have given copies.
At POE, they will take both the originals and give you back one copy with Parole entry stamp.
At Newark, we were ask to go to secondary immigration room , no questions were asked , everything was ok-ed in 10 mins.
All the best
