E-file started sometime in the last week of May and the JIT
claims that they are processing 6/9/03..so is there anyone
on this forum who has an approval for an online application ?

efiling

i filed my first ead thru lawyer, can i do my renew thru e-filing..

also after efiling ,did you get a receipt ..atleast we can go
and get iEAD >>

Rgds.

2 receipts

You will get 2 kind of receipts..one which you print from
your computer and use for signature and photo and the
other gets mailed from INS...like any other receipt.

It is very easy to e-file 765. But after seeing kashmir's
findings I do not think you shd do an e-file. My sisters
application has an RD around the end of May..but she
has not yet received her EAD.....

There is a one clear advantage of e-file though...the counter
for your IEAD begins the time you submit your app as
the ND would be the date you hit the submit button...
and not the day some idiot at the mail room keys in
your app details onto their system.

I applied for Paper filing and did not get the receipt notice or had the WAC# in the enchased cheque.

I am planning to efile since I have already paper filed. In that case i can get the receipt which will help me in getting the IEAD.

Does anyone let me know if it will be a problem if I apply it again through Efiling ead since I have already paper filed before a month.

in the worst situation they will reject your 2nd app when
they try to process your case and see that you are already
approved(if they had approved your case before).
If they have encashed your check that means..they have an app
pending for you. I do not think it will effect you in anyway
other than loosing 120+postage.

Are you sure you looked on the reverse side of the check ?
