Hello,
I changed companies, full 10 months after I got my GC. Will there be any effect on my GC status
if I Sue that company now, that sponsored me for my GC. Can that company inform the INS to
       revoke my GC?

Thanks

That depends.

For the example, if your company said they would have paid you
X a year in LC and now they paid you 1/2X and you sue them,
then this would enter the public record

No. This has to do with how they handled my last couple of pay checks, with withholding money
that were owed to me, like not paying unclaimed vaccation time etc...

Thanks

I don\'t think suing the company directly affect your GC status.
Anyone, maybe illegal alien, can sue employers for unpaid
salary. The only thing you need to worry, as you asked
in the original post, is if your company will claim your
getting GC is fraudeluent. If you think that you are
straight clean in the GC process then go ahead. But
I guess the area is gray because the intent is a state
of mind. JoeF once said if you leave the sponsor
within 3 years of getting the GC, then the burden
of proof is on you to prove that you did have the
intent to work for the sponsor permanently at
the time of getting the GC. After 3 years, then
the burden of proof is on the INS to prove you did not
have such intent. You only worked for 10 months,
so you will bear the burden of proof if your sponsor
compalin to the INS that you commited the fraud.

The ideal approach is to settle this dispute with your
former company out of court. How much are we talking here?
