Any EB2 approvals from NSC pls post here

Hello,
The trend of approvals has changed in NSC. Looks like there are lot of EB3 approvals but did not see any EB2 approvals after the recent bulletin updates. NSC officials say they are processing by I-485 RD and looks like the processing is in Dec'2004 RDs. Pls post your updates here aswell as any other thread seems suitable for EB2 in NSC. The inputs of cases approved will boost the morale of people waiting.

Tomorrow is the last day for approvals this year, so what kind of posts are you expecting. The quota is done, over, finished for 2007.

USCIS is accepting I-485 till Aug 17th which indirectly implies that they would also process pending cases and approve if the FP is current, name check is done and visa number is assigned.

Not really. USCIS has some flexibility/control over accepting I-485 submissions.

Not so for approvals, they need DOS permisiion, ie. a visa number. DOS, by vitrue of putting all categories being 'U' for August has revoked USCIS permission to approve any more AOS for this year.

Quite simply, there is a legal limit on approvals, which has no doubt been administratively met for the year (there may be some admin holdovers). There is no limit on I-485 submissions, so accepting these under the special provisions until 8/17 is permissable, and does not impact the approval process, which is over for FY2007.

Giving out more than 140,000 EB green cards this year would be illegal.

My LC was approved after 3.5 years, my I-140 after 9 months.
It is disheartening to read that EB-2 's will not be approved until the next FY which would be October 2007.
I hope when the new visa bulletin come out the EB-2 will not be retrogressed to 2002.
As of June 2007 EB 2 were still current.
It would seem unimaginable that it could retrogressed 5 years but I guess anything can happen.
At any rate with an I-485 RD of May 25, 2007 it would seem I will have to wait another 9 months or more before my I-485 gets adjudicated if the visa numbers does not retrogressed to before May 16, 2002 by October 2007
 
Eb2 rest of world will likely be current, since it was all of this year, til now.

The big ones set for retro are going to be EB3 RoW and EB2 IN/CN.

All the others should be like may/june 2007.

Are there any more EB2 approvals from the NSC ?
Based on the September VISA bulletin EB2 ROW retrogressed to Jan. 2007.
But I have seen any new EB2 I-485 approvals ?

What were your RFEs on? Were they for I484 stage?

Congratulations on your getting your GC after 4 long years of waiting
I am also curious about the RFE.
Were they verifying your curent employment?
Any one else got their I-485 approved 6 to 9 months after I-485 application sent in ?
