Any Dec '01 RD without 2nd FP notice

Haven't received 2nd FP notice yet.
Any other Dec '01 RD in similar situation?

All of us should go to support center using old notice and ask if we can do second FP. whengc did that and get his case approved in a month

I would go to Boston office instead of support center if I were you.

I went to BCIS office in JFK building, Boston to see if I can find anything about the 2nd FP notice and also to confirm that my address change has been updated in the BCIS system.

They were able to confirm the address change. Regrading the
2nd FP they said that my current FP is valid till October and I will
receive a notice if a 2nd one is needed.

madsap. that's bs. how can it valid till Oct. It expired in June.
They are stupid. Or maybe the FP expiration is 19 months now?
That'll be weird, because so many ppl have 2nd fp notice!

When you say support center do you mean the office at
Porter Street where people go for finger print?

Let me know. I plan to go there to. There's probably no
harm in trying.

now that you say i might go there tomorrow. what documents
are you planning to take along. i didn't even keep a copy of my first notice.
 
I think you at least need your first FP notice. You just said
you showed JFK buiding your FP notice, how come you don't have it.

I'll take my first FP notice and 485 receipts, driver license

don't make assumtions. i never said i showed them my 1st fp notice. i told them that as per the online status my first fp was received on 03/01/03 which they also verified in their system.
 
how come they don't know it's 15 months expiration, did you ask them?

I wonder if do the second FP without notice will help our cases,
will their system be reflected with new date? will it trigger them
to look at our cases?
 
i don't know how well informed they are but valid till october is what he said. i doubted it at that time only but he won't say anything more than that.
 
madsap, how can you talk to someone in local office. Do you wait in a special customer service line? can you tell me more details
