I haven't received my EAD yet. Waiting ..........................

EAD RD 10/31/2002, ND 11/09/2002

My I140 (RFE) was approved on Jan 16 2003. I was trying before and after numbers and there are some approved cases near around my number. I was in the impression that they are processing the cases received end of November. I don’t know how to activate my file.

My employer gave me Advanced Termination notice in January. So I went to local INS office and got my iEAD. I applied for iEAD on Feb 18. It is valid for 3 months. Still I haven’t received my EAD and my iEAD is going to expire on 05/17/2003. I am planning to go to India so I am going to apply for iEAD extension again. I will keep you update on how it works out.

It is good to have advisory form like this and it helped me a lot for taking my decisions. Thanks for all who is actively participating.

 :D

cocurrent filling, need to inform I-140 approval?

Hi, labor_gc:
Did you inform INS/BCIS that your I-140 approved? It seems to me they approved your AP after I-140 approcal. AP normally only takes <6 weeks.
My question can be extended to a general one: for I-140/I-485
cocurrent filling, do we need to inform BCIS the I-140 approval?
Thanks,

Jimhu, its not required..
Samething happened for me.
140 cleared on Jan and AP cleared the very next day. EAD cleared on 19th March. So, just hold on there and you will get it.

Thanks, kingno1,
My case is a bit special. I submitted two I-140 petitons (NIW and EB1) in last July. I sumbitted I-485 and EAD in August based on the new rule of cocurrent filling. In Nov, NIW-I140 was approved and I withdrew EB1-I140 because I did not want to reply the RFE and it's not necessary to have two I-140 approved.

I jsut hope BCIS will conncet EAD and I-485 with my approved I-140, not the withdrawn one.

Thanks,
