Any cases of someone getting their visa number earlier than da priority datewait time

I'm asking this because according to the visa wait times that they are listing, I'm going to have to wait for a while before I can be able to even adjust status. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of a case where the applicant received their visa number before the priority date for their type of case?

The Priority Dates listed online for both the VISA and AOS (via marriage to US citizen) are about a year before our priority date....my husband just got his green card this week! I lost faith altogether in the website...no "touches" at all.....

I think district offices are processing straight forward cases really quickly now...no matter what their priority date is...
