Any body with EAC-01-XXXXX number with RD and ND in 2000?

There seem to be some discussion as to what these numbers represent. To settle it once and for all, can some body with RD OR ND in 2000, tell whether their number is EAC-01-XXXXXXX?

INS fiscal starts from Oct 1st and ends on Sept 30th of every year. EAC-00-XXX RD/NDs are the cases filed between Oct, 1st 1999 - Sept,30th 2000. EAC-01-XXX RD/NDs are the cases filed betn Oct, 1st 2000 - Sept,30th 2001.

Whatever you are saying probably true. But, my RD=Sep 21, 2000 ND=Oct 19, 2000 FP=Jan 02, 2001 and EAC-01-014 ? I don\'t understand the logic!!! Could you please explain the above!!!

Islam,
       INS generate EAC number based on your ND. Since your ND falls in Oct-2000 to Sep-2001 you have EAC-01-xxx although your RD falls in the previous year.

Probably they might assign the EAC # by ND, since your ND falls on Oct 00 your EAC # starts with 01. Mine is EAC 01-047-#### my RD is Nov 00 and ND is DEC 00.

Just my 2 cents.

EAC-01-014 means fiscal year 2001 and 14th working day in that fiscal year which OCT 19th.
