Any approvals with PD in 2001?

Name check cleared but visa not available

To day i called Texas service center. Nice lady told me that my Name check was processed( When i asked Processed means Cleared..? she said yes) on June-16-2007. When i asked why still my GC is pending ? she said Visa number is not available until Oct..
My understanding is that Availability of visa is only new applicants .
I was applied my and my wife 485 application on Aug-2005.
My priority date is July –2001(EB2).
I am now in confusing state.
Gurus if any one knows about what does mean please let me know.

Labor Approved - March 2007 - ~ 6 years
Premium I-140 Approved in May 2007
I-485 June 2007 TSC
FP1 - Completed July 2007 - Code 3
LUD on 485 - July 9,10 after FP
God Knows ... When I will get I-485 Approved ??

2001 Pd

If USCIS moved date slowly then we have chance to get GC for PD 2001 year. But after moving to 2 years we are lots hope..

Now 2002/2003/2004/2005 people are getting approval. But 2001 and earlier are waiting... hell with USCIS process......

I hope my wait does'nt exceed a decade for the whole GC process :-(

i took infopass. Name check is cleared and nothing is pending on my case.
but no sure why it's taking so much time

IO said my appl send to TSC on June 16th 2007. I don't know what that means.

Not a clue on what will happen next.

Just keep waiting like today.. Or file WOM ?

I am in process of filling WOM but not able to decide.. File my self or get attorney.

Any suggestion ???

same boat..Replied for RFE in July...

still waiting....
But received RFE on 21st june,replied received LUD change on 7/10...
am waiting and hoping

I am in the same boat...My lawyers replied for RFE in July... Do you think they will approve the cases? Don't know how the Visa #s work. If they already assign the Visa #s before they send the RFE or will they say no more visa #s?

Hi there:

I am not a lawyer, but I think for long standing cases filing WOM really helps. Or typically the court will examine the entire processing and CIS does not want to go through it. I see it as for CIS as -- Do you want to pay you bill for the last notice or do you want to go through the collection agency and also screw up your credit history. CIS has to act quick on WOM.

But to file a WOM doesn't the priority date have to be current???

What we can do..
