alan, sassanga, irina and others: Did any one receive his/her approval letters yet? Please respond by saying yes or no.. I wanna make sure that we are all in the same page. They announced that they are processing applications received on or before february 1999 and they are making me a nervous wreck!

I have a friend who visit this forum also, he filed in february 99 and he hasn't received anything yet.

Nothing yet. AILA has reported recently that INS is adjudicating applications but not issuing approvals, waiting for answer back from FBI.
Until this issue is resolved, I am afraid we won't hear anything. I wish I were wrong.
Read thread "Adjudications Halt" I created on Deccember 13.

receipt data 10/1/98. Did FP 10/23/02. Still waiting. I am not very hopefull though... If we will not receive anything til February, I will tend to think that because of homesecurity office or new procedures, this process will take an extra year or two...

I believe that is a pesimistic approach with no support at all. How come you got the 'February limit" and the 'extra year or two'. Just gut feeling?
