Hi
I have read all kinds of questions regarding AC-21, but I have never seen a case posted where the I-485 had been denied, in cases like:
- Somebody switched jobs (laid off or voluntary) before 180 days of filing I-485. I am talking about the AC21 rule. For example, somebody gets laid off 3 months after filing I-485, and the USCIS denies the GC.
Cases where the employer widthdraws the I-140 and cases where the employer did not, are interesting to know.
- Somebody who has worked for years during the I-485 applications and laid-off a couple of months before an employment RFE? For example, Somebody gets laid off 2 years after filing I-485 are is unlucky enough to get a request for evidence when he is 2 months unemployed. You know, before he even has the chance of getting another job.
These are hypotetical cases, My personal situation is not important. I just want to know is the USCIS officers are looking for the minimal mistake to deny a case.
I don't think is fair to be living on the edge for 3 years waiting for the GC, so I want to know If we are really living on the edge or are we over stressing outselves too much.
