H1B Extension

My H1B will expire Sept\'02. I\'ve applied for Labor but it is not yet approved. Do i qualify to get an extension?

Re : H1b extension

I think as long as your labor has been pending for more than 365 days, you qualify to get an extension.

H1B Revalidation in Ottawa

Hi,

I have had 2 contigous extenstions on my H1B, from different employers, and have every paystub/w2 since i first entered US. My original I-94 expired in Aug\'99 and I need to get myself revalidated. Can i get this done in Ottawa, or does anyone see any concern\'s?

7th year extension

What I heard from my lawyer is this:

For you to be able to extend your H1 beyond 6 years, you should have:

1. Filed for I-140, AND
2. Your LC should have been filed atleast one year prior to your 6-year completion date

H1B 7th year extension approved

@ VSC (at the time of H1 filing LC > 360 and I-140 application was filed)

hi,can anyone look into this case and can give some suggestions on H1B Expiring

One of my friends H1 is getting expired on Jun 4th 2002 and Visa is getting expired on jun 11th 2002.He applied for labor on Jun 4th of 2001.
and till now labor didn\'t get approval yet and it\'s not moving at all.
His applications got moved from SESA to DOL on Jan 8th 2002.
So do he needs to go out of US and stay for one year and come back.
Any suggestions please.it is very important.
Thanks.

Actually..I\'m also on the same boat..

usually for 7th year extension, you have to apply I-140 and labor may have applied before 365 days.

But, anyway apply H-1 extension with labor> 365 days, by the time they make decision(approval or deny), you might get your labor cleared. Again, this is just a suggestion...contact ur attorney
