Hi Guys,

July 2008 is a milestone for FBI to complete all cases who are pending for 2 yrs. anyone heard that their NC is cleared?

also another question......
My PD is 04/07
and FP- 05/07
I am completing 15 months of FP in august.

Is the 15 month validity period for FPs?
Is second FP a certainty for me?

Yes, 15 month is FP validity. Since they expire in August, expect to receive a FP renewal notice after then.

I know it's none of my business or that I am pushing you, but shouldn't you be contacting a lawyer and be filing a lawsuit to get your citizenship?

I mean, they have had more than enough time to process your case.-
Wouldn't you think ???

Yes, 15 month is FP validity. Since they expire in August, expect to receive a FP renewal notice after then.

This FP validity does not apply equally - I was finger printed in Oct '06 for my N400 - no letter for second FP to date.

Did you get you NC completed and interview scheduled? If not, that might be the reason why second FP was not requested yet... From what I've heard, they do it on "need as" basis.

Very good advice. There has to be a point when one says "enough is enough". If you know you haven't committed any crimes and have a clean record, then I suggest you file a lawsuit. Why wait another day?

My colleague applied in May/06 and she just had her FP two days ago.

I think they are moving.

Still waiting for the name check clearance or IL. I am not sure where my case is stuck, because one USCIS letter says local office will set-up the interview, and local office says name check is not cleared

My PD is Feb 2007
FP March 2007.
