Another thread about leaving sponsoring employer

Folks,
I have gone through many threads about leaving an employer soon
and also read Rajiv Khanna's opinion on the topic. But most of the people were worried about what would happen while applying for citizenship but not about immediate consequences. I would like the gurus of the forum to please read through my scenario and comment on it.

I have been employed by a company for the past 7 years at a location
X, few years ago my company substituted a labor certification for a
position in location Y, back then I had no problem relocating to
location Y.
About 3 months ago, right after I got my Green Card, my wife and one yr
old son had to move to location Z for her job. After 2 1/2 months of
getting my Green Card my company finally transferred me to location Y
(the location mentioned in the labor). I had intended to continue with
my employer but my employer has refused to transfer me to location Z
(where my wife and son are) after recommended 6 months at the location
Y(labor), this left me with no choice but to seriously consider
resigning from my position.

Now for the million dollar question...
Do you think this will put my Green card in jeopardy ?

I am really not worried about Citizenship at this point.
