Hi All,
I am one of those silent visitors to this forum for some time. It has given me hope and sometimes despair.

Well, my journey is finally over. (Pending my stamping next week).

My details (same for spouse):
EB3 India
Did my MS in US. So did spouse.
PD : Oct, 1999
RD : Jul, 2001
ND : Aug 2001
FP : Jan 2003
AD : March 25, 2004
Notice Received : April 1, 2004 (not a joke). :-)

Never applied for AP. I applied for my second EAD in early Feb 2004. I wonder if that triggered my approval.
Spouse on her 3rd EAD. Only the first did not arrive on time. Got the interim EAD and a week later the real one showed up.

Never called USCIS except to notify of address change. No RFE's.

Came to US to do Masters 10 years ago and stayed back to work.
Only held wo jobs. Moved to houston for the second job (GC sponsor).

For those out there still awaiting your turn, keep your heads up. It is OK to despair on those sleepless nights (I had several). For one fine Friday, the sun will rise and the morning air will bring the wonderful news you have been waiting for.

Till then, step out take a deep breath and enjoy the bluebonnets.

Live out your dreams,
