I know there has been so many questions on this. But I would like your expert opinion on this.

We received our Interview letter for both of us last week. In my husband's letter, they have asked him to bring proof of selective service registration to the interview. My husband had come to the US on a 3 week business trip when he was 26. After that he came to the US on L1 visa at the age of 33 and has been here ever since. Now we thought that he had crossed the age limit for applying for Selective Service Registration! What should we do? (We didn't know about this Selective Service thing until we decided to apply for citizenship).

Ignore that request. and I don;'t think such request is in your husband interview letter but in his Yellow letter instead.
Yellow letter should be just a crude estimate of what should be brought to interview but should not be regarded
as exact instructions

Thank you for your reply! But I double checked, it is in his interview letter! His yellow letter, however, asked him to bring his driver's license for the interview.

Interview letter instructions should be targeted at general application rather than specific case. Its instruction
about what docuemtns to being should be something like "when application" or "If you " etc.
