Another NUNC PRO TUNC question

My wife is 20 and has a derivative asylee status from her father. We are married as mentioned. Does she has to fill out I 589 for nunc pro tunc when she'll be 21?
Funny thing is that nobody knows anything about it. Another smart idea of INS.

What you read “…21 and unmarried..” was the old law.
Under the new Child status protection act of 2002 your wife was safe from “age-out” her derivative benefits no matter what her age was, until she got married.
If she still wants to adjust to LPR then she better file nunc pro tunc ASAP.
