Another Meaningless Milestone

Today marks the second anniversary of my RD. Still no RFE. Being a March 02 case at least they seem to be working cases around mine. Perhaps something will break soon.

Paul, in a lighter vein

Let me take a guess at predicting your RFE date.

March 25th 2004.

RSU and PaulClarke1,
Does this mean that on an average RD/ND should touch 2nd anniversary even for straightforward cases ???

Yes,

If your application does not get picked up in the first pass. This is the second pass for applications between July 01 and May 02. A whole years worth of applications are being touched now. How they are able to keep all of this straight is in itself a minor miracle.

Rsur and PaulClarke1,
please suggest...
Recently my 7th year h1 was extended. I recieved the approval too. I asked my company and attorney to just send info to NSC that I am still working with the same company, so as to try my luck..., they are not ready to spend 37 cents.
If I send a letter myself, will somebody look at it or is trashed?

Shoot, I was about to respond to your post, when I realized that you ONLY want help from Rsur and PaulClarke1....

SirZ -

Don't be sorry for putting in your two cents, my friend. This forum for everyone and everyone's opinion means something. In my country, we often say, "Idea of three friends is almost as good as the wisdom of Bodhisattva".

SirZ and Japanese,
Thanks for being so open and helpful in suggesting. I did not mean to mention Rsur or Paulclarke1 only. Since the thread was started by Paul and answered by Rsur..., I happened to write it that way.

peace_of_mind,
My 7th year extension documents were received by NSC this morning(03/26/04). How long it took for you to get your 7th year extension approval?
Thanks,
naanshi.

I am not sure how sending in such a letter would help. Its a long shot if you think it would prevent an RFE. Unless you have changed jobs it is meaningless to send an Employment verification letter. I would advice that you sit back and relax. Things seem to be improving as far as 485 adjudication is concerned.

Rsur,
Yaa, today is Friday anyway..., I am alone at work.., others (my collegues and managers) say they are telecommuting..., I do not know whether they really work from home or not..., they may have a small gadget that keeps moving the mouse once every five minutes, so it looks like they are connected to the network.
I streched back to my seat, relaxing with a Camel in hand, sorry I dont smoke.., at least I can pretend...
