    Our 485 Approved and received notice by mail today. AVM never changed, still says "on 29th Dec 01 processing resumed...." Yet to receive my wife (dependent) approval notice.
RD 5/23/01 ND 7/27 FP 11/1 AD 2/21/02.

PD Jan 00. Actually I used some one else labor and applied directly to I-140.
H1 applied in Jan 01 and Approved in Feb 01
140 Filed in Mar 01 and Approved in Apr 01
485 Filed in May 01 and Approved in Feb 01

This information should NOT be misinterpreted. It took less than a year for "ThinkDiferent" to get a GC! However, since s/he used laborfor someone else, the priority date for which is Jan 2000. This makes the total time to get the GC as 2 years and 1 month, if you start with a fresh process!
The idea of making this post is to make people aware of the complete facts. People watch out, since we want to compare apples to apples!
Congratulations "ThinkDifferent". You are lucky enough to get through this stressful process in such a less time!

even if u include 4 months

3 months for labor and 1 month for preparation of I-140
this means that it took 1 year and 4 months

not bad
