Another April 2003 Case approved !!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally VSC got up from its long nap........!!!

My case was approved on March 18 2005.

Don't know what triggered my approval...??

Name check FOIPA request was sent to Mr. David Hardy office 2 weeks ago

Received email from FBI last thursday that my name check was completed in
Jan 2005 and results sent to USCIS.( FBI reply email was in repsonse to my email request on Nov 4 2004)

Congrats

1-140/485 rd 04/10/2003.
1-140 Ad : 04/2004.
Made the status inquiry on 11/23/04.
got the response saying that pending service considaration pealse allow 120 days to hear from us.

Send the mail to FBI on Oct-4th-2004 and oct-14-2004 got the response saying that name check completed on May6TH 2003.

called uscis recently they asked me to wait until 120 days over (Status inquiry response says wait for 120 days )
3 Ead and AP approved in with in 3 weeks applied in feb 25th 2005 and got approved last week.

I-485 AD ??????????????????

I suspect something terribly wrong with the FBI name check results and USCIS. It looks like name check results are not with USCIS. Could you please get a Congressmen inquiry done and ask specifically if the security clearance is completed.

Yours should have been approved long time back. Since there was communication problem between FBI and USCIS during those days (April-May 2003), I suspect the above.....

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. But I contacted Senator Kerry offfice 3 weeks regarding my I-485 status they said they will get back to ater 3 weeks
ago till now nothing happend. I am also suspecting some communication gap between USCIS AND fbi causing my application delay.I will surely contact Congressmen after 2 weeks.

I am very happy to see atleast they are approving the old cases who have been made to wait for long.........

I also called VSC recently and since all checks have been cleared for our cases, I was asked to wait for 120 days....And recently, I came to know that our cases have been assigned to the officer. So I strongly suggest you to contact the local congressman and ask for reason for delay and I am sure that will definately bring your case into USCIS consideration. Good Luck!
