Dear friends,

the online status check said that my case has been approved on June 16,2003.
ND: Dec 21, 1998
FP: Feb 21, 2003.
Now I am waiting for my daughter's. She is 10. My husband got his 2 weeks ago. Thank you everyone for your support. It is long way, but we are getting there.

Congratulations for the approval,also informing us of when you filed your I-485.

Now that you have been approved yet you filed in Dec of 1998,I am more than certain that i will be getting mine pretty soon since i filed in Dec,29 1998.

Once again congratulations. Hope the rest of your family will get their approvals sooner than later.

I was thinking about you as I did not remember the date of your application. Seems like that you should get your approval pretty soon. I hope this day comes for all of us ... My date is Mar of 99 so I think it will be significantly after you.
 
A quick question about this approval process. Theroteically it goes in the following order

FingerPrints

Either you receive an approval afterwards or called for an interview

Anybody here knows how much longer does it usually take for approval if one is called for an interview.....??

Greencard is sent in mail after approval

(Do they request new pictures or use the pictures provided with the original I-485)

Please correct my perceived process if I have missed anything here...

I do not know nothing about interview. I got my approval after last fingerprints(feb 2003). But the letter said go to local INS with 2 recents pictures, I-94 and there, u will have your fingerprints taken again(for the 3rd time since original application). I hope i answered your ?

Hi,
I also share a Mar 99 receipt date. FP done in April 2003. However
when I check the online status of my case it goes something like this:
'we received your application...it takes xxx days to process it..'

but no reference is made to the fact that I did the fingerprints 2+ months ago. Does anyone else in a similar situation have their online status updated with a reference to FP ?

Also, does anyone have a good insight on when they might update the processing date (2/1/99 has not been changed in quite a while), or if there is a chance of that happening before the end of this fiscal year?

My FP info is also not updated in the case status online so that seems to be a common practice. Looks like you and I should be hearing around same time. I hope its sooner than later.

I have only done FP once though since filing application in Mar 99

I think the order goes with the RD,If it were not so,I would have got my approval before clecle who did her FP on the 21 of Feb 2003 yet i did mine Oct- 03-2002.
 
I strongly believe that those whose RD`are dating March 1999 will get thier approvals after Sept 2003,unless as shamshon if i can remember posted that the processing date has been raised to April 1999.

I tried to open the site that was referred to as having showed BCIS updated precessing times,to no avail.

However,you should know that BCIS is not far to reach your file.

I think they raised it tosome time in april accroding to their latest news release. the crappy release in which they request asylees to contact them
