Just got an email from INS (two of them) and I got my case approved. My asylum was granted in Oct of 1999 and I applied for Green card in December of 2000.... I am so happy..
 
does it matter if you applied asylum for urself, or others applied it for u? are they in the same process speed, or one is faster than another one?
