Congrats!
Your timeline shows you got 2nd RFE for jobs description. Was it because it wasn't mentioned in the EVL letter you submitted with AC21 documents ?
Did u had the copy of LC/140 for job description? was there any difference between job function? Would appreciate your reply.

thanks,

Job Description

DSLStart,

I did not give a copy of LC... Job Description was mentioned in EVL, but not as eloborate as they needed. The second RFE was asking for more information regarding my job duties..

Congrats Sujark! Now, I guess you are not from one of those retrogressed countries ? Is that why your case with PD: Apr 2002 approved ? Or there is still some luck out there for we unfortunate souls ?

I'm from India and my PD is Apr 2002, EB3 concurrent filing too. But as per those visa bulletins, I am not expecting any news for another year.

ykchakri, I am EB3, India... its a surprise when I got my approval notice as my date is not current... My first RFE was issued before the Retrogression happened. So, I don't know if my case was processed because it was opened before the retrogression.... After the retrogression, we were constantly getting some communication from USCIS.. like our 2nd RFE, Biometrics (2 times) plus our fingerprint notifications... So, I persume my case was in process somehow..

Well, I guess everyone is not that fortunate. I got an RFE too, just before retrogression. But, no FPs, no LUD changes, no nothing after they received my response.

First of all congrats getting the approval! 2nd, obviously your job duties in paper never changed when u switched jobs :) But what about salary? I'm sure it went up. By how much % wise. I am wondering since I am too contemplating a switch and wondering if I can take a 30% or over jump over LC salary. Also did you join big companies or small ones? Reason I ask is that sometimes USCIS asks more Qs if the companies are small. Your answers shall be appreciated.
