Guys ,we had enough celeberation over ap,ead .
by the way, if CSC does not take action on ap and ead application within 90 days of filling the application.You could walk to the nearest INS field office and collect ap/ead.

Coz there is absolutely nothing to cheer , since the halt has been lifted.and this delay can go on for atleast another year. Let us do something about it.

Let us bring the 485 halt/delay and grievances to the notice of news media & politicians.

This is only true for EAD.
 
Extremely frustrating! Those are the two words that best describe CSC. I think we definitely need to add some pressure on INS via politicians, not sure about the writing to the media. Since national security became the catch phase the media/public considers all immigrants as terrorists. And I don't think the current mood in the country is appeasement of immigrants.

Is everyone up for another email campaign?

I think we need to open up a chicken shop in front of Laguna Nigel for delivery orders and i am sure we r bound to get some from inside the INS then we can see what these ediots r up to. LOL j/k
I think this frustration has caught up with me so i am hoping for my approval in 2004 only now so , CSC ke Maa ke ......
AS long as i hv my EAD and AP i do't give damn cause nothing work on these Fat ass ediots .
 
Email campaign

140, the problem with an email campaign this time is, that according to INS they are giving approvals. They really aren't but what is our basis of saying that .. immigrationportal.com? Thats not gonna fly. Scanners? Who is gonna bell the cat for scanning a federal website?

Y'know .. what grounds are you going to say on that CSC isn't giving approvals. I am personally sure CSC is lying and not giving approvals, but what is my basis of saying that?

I agree, CSC is sickening at best. I just hate these bastards. Hope they rot in hell.

Regards your prawns .. .I'm super hungry right now. Last night I went swimming .. did around 100+ lengths, and by the time I finished, everything was closed, got up late this morning had to skip breakfast .. so right now .. I'M STARVING. hehehe :).
 
There is one way though !!

We could use backward movement of JIT as the reason to prove that CSC is not woring. Thats as official as it could get. But with these idiots no reasoning would work !!! God !!
 
Let us device some solution on this issue.

I am sure this is not end of story. and there a lot of things that we might come up with. We need to look at the pros and cons of each solution , with best return for the buck.

CSC has so much 2 write about .I am sure with proper approach we could bring about the issue to some local politicians ( in a focused manner) .
Also, when presenting our greivence we should bring this as CSC problem, not individual case problem.We should point how outrageous the situation is . example compare CSC with other service centers, JiT's fluctuation, very poor / irresponcible IIOP responce, Halt issue and etc.

I feel if CSC feel the heat from local political leaders , we might get something moving.

Jay, what you are saying is what I had recommended long back ..

Go home .. and everyday write a physical letter to the people in power (read senators), expressing your frustration .. in a very official and non-abusive manner.

All of us do this, every single day .. until CSC moves. That's the only way to get any action here. Plain and simple. Or else we'll all wait till we all loose our jobs and then get denied.

Even now, approvals aside, all CSC does is transfer your case. Thats another 2 years delay, ask yourself personally, is that what you want for yourself?

And don't ask for letter formats, that defeats the purpose.

I think the restaurant opposite INS center makes sound business sense. That way we can earn good money from people like us who have to wait in queue for hours before getting inside the center and who knows we get some IIO's as customers and get a rocket set under our GC approvals! :)

With regards to the writing campaign, I agree that we should get started but I disagree that we have no basis to push INS. We don't refer to mass cases, instead refer to our own cases. There are lots of people like you who have been waiting over an year +, and there are enough people like me who have been waiting for the past 4-6 months. If they get enough volumes of letters from people who have been waiting for donkey years, I am sure these senators can draw the same conclusions that we have drawn, namely, INS SUCKS! And they are a bunch of liars if they say that they are issuing approvals when there are people with cases pending over 18 - 20 months! I am extremely reluctant to waste another 18 months of my life like I did over the labor certification! this time we can push the F@#$@#$ and make our cases go faster. I am telling you, there is going to be no progress unless everyone takes a stand.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO WRITE! And while not daily, but atleast weekly. The senators office will get pretty pissed if we keep flooding them with letters. And we need to give them some time to get the ball rolling. It is not like INS is on the top of their minds with Iraq brewing up and Afghanistan not quite a closed book.

So my advise is write, regularly, but not daily, atleast once a week. Actually you know what, we can have some kind of timetable, eg. If you have been waiting over 12 months you write x number of times, if it is between 9 - 12 months then it is x - 2 times per month, so on and so forth! That way the longer cases get higher priority!

Please people work with us on this, believe me, this is the only way we can get INS to do something, anything! There are hundreds and thousands of us in the same boat. The economic situation is not helping one iota! Please get on board and start writing!

But, I want to bring one thing upfront. Someone wrote earlier "Dont ask for formats". Well I feel that it wud be better if we have a specific format with no spelling mistakes and wrong sentences. That is the most important thing.
Then, in that pre-formatted letter, replace it with your details.
My case is around for only 4-5 months, but still if it help us push a lil bit, I am willing to write.

I saw today's approval list. It looks like old times, except no CSC in there. This is depressing, freezes come and go, but CSC never budges :(.
 
Formatted Letter!!!

Hi Folks:

I will be writing a letter to the congressman today. Iw ill be done with editing by tomorrow and will post it over in the forum so that people can use the letter to make it as a starting point. Give and take you can use the letter and send it your own senators/congressman for inquiry about your cases citing different reasons. Let's not feel bad...

I have been waiting for 14 months now... So let's be damn positive with this one of it's kind speices "CSC":rolleyes:
 
I am kinda against this form letter that everyone prints, signs and sends. It doesn't add the same impact, simply because, I could go to Rupnet, pick up the ND, RD and mass mail the senators. While it could be argued that I could change the subject and still do the same, I think the chances of that happening are pretty slim.

It is much better for all the people interested to pen out their own letters, bad spellings, grammer, et all. That will do 2 things, 1. Make everyone more serious about this process,
2. Ensure that our true story is heard by the Senator's office.

Offcourse it could also mean that a number of lazy people will sit back and refuse to write, but we must go on! We need more people on board, so please people speak up, don't be silent any more, this letter writing will not just help your case but also the hundreds of cases out there pending on a shelf in the INS warehouse! We have to take action!
 
The lazy people who don't write .. I hope they don't get their green cards either. You've gotta realize we are all in this together. If you are gonna be lazy about this, and let others do all your work .. GEEZ who wiped your ass this morning??

This is not a time to be lazy and any self respecting individual will atleast try and fight against this terrible injustice against CSC people? What is there to discuss about being lazy and others do it .. you are only helping yourself. Get serious man .. write that letter.
