An update on APPROVALS

This is just to update you guys. Out of 5 cases I have received 3 approvals and 1 GC. Backdated 1 year. Today I received the mail that the second card has been mailed. So now I still have 2 more approvals and 3 cards to look forward too!

Yes Flashington, 3 kids. But only one approval today. 2 Kids are still pending. Maybe tomorrow or later today?? All cases were filed together but as per USCIS staff it is not necessary that all cases are processed at the same time though they try to keep the families together. Most of the time they get seperated, like us.

Another question, can a kid with GC become a US resident? or s/he must turn 18 to be able to make the decision.

Yes a child can become a resident, like my children have.

Sorry, I made a mistake, my question is if they can become US Citizens after 5 years, even if at that time they're under 18.

Yes Flashington, a child can become a citizen even if he/she is not 18. I submitted 5 applications. One for each individual, 2 for parents and 3 for the kids, but every application had the names of all the applicants. That is to prove that the kids are included in the parents application. And the kids application carried the names of the parents as well. But each applicant although in conjunction with the other, applied individually. Hope this answers your question.
