We are facing an unusual situation that we need yoru help. Any information will be appreciated.

My wife suffers from infertility problems and the only hope for us to get a baby is through a surrogate. Due to its high costs in US, we plan to find one in China. My question is once the baby is delivered, how can I get him/her back to US immediately? We both have green cards but are not citizens yet. I know the normal process of immigrating immediate relatives of green
card holder is lengthy, so I wonder if there is a fast track available for us.

This case may be rare, but I believe it is similar to some other cases. For example, a pregnant woman who has LPR status has to travel back to overseas for some reasons and then give birth there, then she must
has a way to get the baby back to US.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

SHe does. if a child is under two and the parents are LPRs and it's baby's first trip, there is a special procedure for the baby to get a visa or something like that. I can't remember specifically, but I'd advise you to read www.uscis.gov and www.travel.state.gov. I don't know how that would apply to surrogacy issues, though. Good luck!
